The production site stretches out on 7000 m2 and is formed of: a workshop, 3 fridge rooms and 8 growing rooms cultivating mushrooms. The growing rooms are equipped with sophisticated air handling and conditioning system, environmental control devices for temperature, relative humidity, air volume, velocity and carbon dioxide.
The mushrooms are harvested in 3 waves. The production cycle lasts 45 days, after which the old compost is discarded, the premises are disinfected and prepared for recharging. In this way one mushroom can be loaded 7 to 8 times per year. Aluminum racks are loaded and emptied using a special machine. The roofing material is also placed mechanically.
The hand-picking process remains only the harvesting of mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms are sold both wholesale and retail, in trays of 0.250 and 0.500 kg, as well as in a plastic box of 3 and 4 kg. The company owns a matrix to produce its own patented plastic box.
