The compost production is carry out on a specific center composed of : 1000 m2 reinforced concrete area for the fermentation (phase 1) and a pasteurization room (phase 2).
Multizone modern system:
Each step of the substrate manufacture takes place in a dedicated area. At the end of each stage, the substrate is moved in a different area in order to perform the following step .
Miva has got specific rooms for the “pasteurization” and “incubation”
Compost production:
Our goals are to supply the best substrate in nutritive and energetic needs to the mushrooms. The raw materials (wheat straw, fresh horse manure, fresh chicken manure) used for the compost production come from natural and healthy bulgarian farming. We periodically perform measurements of the structure (nitrogen and potassium) and the water content of the raw materials. We collaborate with the Plovdiv University (biochemistry department ) in order to obtain the best compost quality at the end of the phase 1.
The compost is mechanically mixed with the composting machine. Then, the compost is filled in mass in the pasteurization room for the post-fermentation. Computerized control regulates the amount of oxygen in the mass of compost, which maintains the optimum conditions for producing compost. At the conclusion of the pasteurization, the compost (PH 7 to 7,5) is spawn inoculated and packed in the polyethylene bags. The compost bags are moved in the growing mushroom rooms. The substrates is sold in two forms according to the farmer needs; spawn inoculated "phase 2" substrates packed into polyethylene bags or spawn growth completed
"phase 3".
